Hi, I’m Kayla — a psychiatric nurse practitioner who believes mental health care should feel less like a cold appointment and more like a safe, genuine conversation. I earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Missouri in 2023, but my journey started long before that — spending over six years as an ER nurse, learning the art of staying calm in chaos, and meeting people exactly where they are. While my expertise is in working with children and adolescents, I love partnering with individuals of all ages to help them navigate life’s challenges.
My approach to care is compassionate, collaborative, and client-centered. I strive to create a safe, supportive space where individuals feel heard, respected, and empowered in their healing process.
